Chamblee, Ga., June 10, 2020- TRINITY Development Group, Inc has announced that it signed a lease with Publix Super Markets, Inc to anchor the last phase of the redevelopment of Chamblee Plaza, Chamblee Georgia.
Publix signed a lease for a 41,004 square feet grocery store and will join TJ Maxx, HomeGoods, Ace Hardware, Five Below, and Rack Room Shoes as it’s all-star line-up.
Chamblee Plaza’s first phase comprising of 115,104 square feet of retail was completed and opened last September 2019. The last and final phase will comprise of the Publix grocer and 8,400 square feet of adjacent retail shops from 1,200 to 6,000 square feet and will total of 49,404 square feet. The store is scheduled to start construction first quarter of 2021 and expected to be completed the first quarter of 2022.
When completed, Chamblee Plaza will total 164,508 square feet of new retail and restaurant space with more than 700 parking spaces for ample parking and social distancing.

The center offers discount shopping convenience and selection in close proximity to an already dense residential market, across the Blvd from the dynamic redevelopment of downtown Chamblee. “The addition of Publix to Chamblee Plaza further complements the dynamic lineup and yet provides another amenity to the vibrant Chamblee community”, said Riggio.
The center is owned by Trinity-Chamblee Station, LLC led by TRINITY Development Group, Inc.
